Sidney Bruhl needs a hit play! Although his career is in a slump, a former student
has sent him a play that seems destined to become a huge hit! Bruhl invites him over.
Now he must think ~ to what lengths will he go to get that play? Murder?

THE CAST
ROB MAY (Sidney Bruhl), was in both The Odd Couple and Dark of the Moon last season. He received a Best
Actor Gem Award for his Atticus Finch in To Kill A Mockingbird, and has appeared in several shows at
both Jewel Box and area theatres. A Real Estate
Broker/Auctioneer, and Personal Property Appraiser, he
thanks his wife, Jaye, for her theatrical tolerance level. |

MICHEL CROSS (Myra Bruhl) is a member of the
theatre’s Board of Advisors and has appeared in many
shows, most recently The Sound of Music, Steel
Magnolias and Bad Seed. She received a Best Actress
Gem Award as Dolly Levi in The Matchmaker. She lives
in Norman with husband Dr. Braden Cross. |
DALE MORGAN (Clifford Anderson) was seen as Baby
John in West Side Story at Summerstock and has Gem
Awards for Tribute, Urning It, and The Foreigner. This
one’s for Katie, not only my sister and best friend, but
also the first person I used to love to scare to death.
Dale is on the Board of Advisors and is Box Office
Manager. |
SUSAN REVILLE (Helga Ten Dorp) played the Conjur Woman in last season’s Dark of the Moon, has a Best
Actress Gem Award for The Lion in Winter, and has
appeared in many productions over the years. A
member of the Board of Advisors, she teaches English
at Edmond Santa Fe High School. Susan played Helga
Ten Dorp in our 1996 production. |
JAMES GORDON (Porter Milgrim) was stage manager
for Nunsense, appears in Deathtrap, and will be seen in
Arsenic and Old Lace. A Volunteer-of-the-Year, he has
appeared on stage in many productions, and had
various jobs back stage. Last season, he was stage
manager for the Gem Award-winning Someone to Love and Tuesdays With Morrie. |
THE CREW
CHUCK TWEED (Director) has been Production Director for
30 years. He was a drama teacher for 27 years in the Mid-
Del district. He is also Artistic Director of Summerstock in
Edmond during the summer. He is most appreciative of
everyone who has worked hard to help Jewel Box Theatre
get to this momentous anniversary! Bravo! |
JUDI FRETWELL (Stage Manager) recently appeared in
the Poteet Theatre musical The Music Man, and ran lights
for Into the Woods there. A Department of Rehabilitation
Services Social Security Disability Specialist, she was the
first recipient of the Don Tussing Backstage Award and has
been both on and off stage for many of our productions. |
PEGGY HOSHALL (Assistant Director) enjoyed success in
such Jewel Box shows as Ballroom, Moon Over Buffalo, and The Sound of Music. For the past 6 years she has been
director of Fine Arts in Edmond, and for 15 years has been
Director of family classics for homeschoolers. Off stage,
Peggy browses for antiques for her business. |
| RITA ALLEN (Props) won a Gem Award for Moon Over Buffalo, and a Volunteer-of-the-Year plaque. For many shows, this wonderful person has worked backstage. On the Board of Advisors, Rita celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary a couple of years ago, and we love having her around! |
| MENDY KANE (Assistant Props/Sound) was in the Poteet Theatre musicals The Music Man and Bye Bye Birdie, and was head of props for Chuck’s The Foreigner there. She has been awarded the Don Tussing Backstage Trophy, a Spotlight, and Volunteer of the Year. Mendy has been on and off stage with us for many wonderful seasons. |
